Banker killed in outer Delhi by notorious criminal; three arrested
Another instance proving that love triangles always end in tragedy. Outer District Police arrested Rakesh (25), Monu (25) and Deepu (21) on Wednesday for murdering 27-year-old Dilip Kumar, a banker, on May 8. Dilip worked with a private bank where he became intimate with Renu.
"The sister of the deceased complained on May 10 that her brother had gone missing. In the inquiry we found that Dilip had disappeared after dropping off his friend Renu near Rohini Sector 5. When we interrogated Renu about Dilip, she said that they were friends and they met every Saturday," said a police officer.
After sustained interrogation the police discovered that Renu was a friend of Rahul, a notorious criminal in her neighbourhood, and she had been constantly in touch with him till April. After that she got a job as a Probationary Officer (PO) with a private bank and she stopped talking to Rahul.
"It was also revealed that Renu was in affair with another accused Rakesh since 2001. Rahul felt that Renu was ignoring him because of Dilip and he then planned to kill him. All of the accused got together and planned to kidnap Dilip. They executed their plan killed him in Loni, Ghaziabad. Later, they burnt the body to destroy all evidence. Rahul is still absconding and the search for him is on," said a police officer.
Affair to rememberThe police have arrested Manju Joshi ,35, Lekhraj,32, and Deepak Sharma,29 and claimed to have solved the murder case of Dinesh Joshi in Rohini area of outer Delhi. His body was found near BAAZ Mall in Rohini Sector 24 on June 17 with multiple injuries. On July 12, three women - Seema Nagar, Nisha Tripathi and Manju Joshiu00a0came to the Begumpur police station with the 'Hue and Cry' notice of the body and identified it. But Manju, the deceased's wife didn't want to lodge an FIR. After sustained interrogation Manju revealed that her husband was an alcoholic and would beat her and her three children. She subsequently fell in love with her landlord's son Lekhraj and they together along with another tenant had killed Dinesh and dumped the body.
