Blogs are commenting on the Gudyia-Budiya fight between the BJP and the Congress. Those blogs which are following the great Indian election are keenly commenting on this latest war of words between India's two major parties.
"This General Election there is an unsavory slug fest engaged between two of the largest national parties, even as the great pageantry of election in the largest democracy braces to a climax. It seems like the anointed leader of the BJP has trained his guns not on the ruling Congress or the UPA in power," says blogger Aravindan.u00a0
"There are people taking sides in a hurry with in BJP projecting the fire brand Namo! (Narendra Modi) as the next prime ministerial candidate and face of BJP," he adds.
"Even in spectacle Advani is upstaged by his wards at the BJP. How else can we contend the "Budiya/Gudiya" jab at the Congress by the saffron Namo? How about the night watchman comment by Arun Jaitely?" asks the blogger.
While praising Modi for his "illustrious work" and contributions blogger gnomicaccentu00a0 says: "I am not a follower of the Congress or BJP either but the recent remarks Modi made about Priyanka Gandhi-Budiya, Gudiya etc are in my opinion very shallow and its surprising to hear it from a person of his stature!"
"These remarks show how cheap are the thoughts of the politicians of this country and its really shameful on our part. I don'tu00a0 suppose he consider himself to be in the early twenties? I understand that a person is young or old as per his thoughts but where are those youthful refined thoughts of his? The face of Indian politics is never going to change if we keep on with this 'blame game," he adds.
While lamenting that media are not even discussing parties' manifestos, blogger scribblessideu00a0says "the media reports only how Narendra Modi called Congress Budiya and then Gudiya and how Priyanka Gandhi asked reporters whether she looks old. Oh for heaven's sake!"
"There are issues at stake. There is recession in place, food, shelter, health, education...can we talk about them for a change?," asks the blogger.
"However, every thing is not dismal. There is an increase level of awareness, an eagerness to participate, and signs that politicians will not be allowed to get away with it."
So let us see how it all turns out.
