Bihar: Passenger shot dead in running train

A man was killed after a fellow passenger fired at him in a running train in Bihar's Jamui district late Saturday night, the police said.

The gunman fired at the victim after picking up a quarrel with him inside a coach of the Jhajha-Patna Passenger train, killing him on the spot.

The deceased was yet to be identified, the sources said adding that it was reported that the gunman alighted from the train after pulling the chain near Mahesh Leta Halt station on Jamui-Kiul section of the East Central Railway.
