Bihar School Examination Board Patna, BSEB Matric Result 2014 to be declared tomorrow on 5th June 2014 on www.biharboard.net / www.biharboard.bih.nic.in.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is the main board of education in the state of Bihar in India. Similar to other school boards in the country, BSEB was formed to facilitate education and conduct examinations at secondary and senior secondary standard (Class 10 and Class 12) in both government and private schools in the state of Bihar on the basis of syllabus as prescribed by the Government of Bihar. Secondary and senior secondary school examinations are held twice a year by the board, first exam is held in August/September which is called supplementary examination while the second one is held in February/March which is called the annual board examinations.

Apart from school examinations, the board also conducts departmental examinations such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination.

BSEB is headquartered at Patna, the capital of Bihar. The board tries hard to ensure the proper level of education in Bihar and increase the literacy rate. As per 2011 census of India, Bihar's literacy rate was 63.8 %, an increase of 16.8 % over last census (the highest among all the state) but still it ranked last among all the states of India.
