Gandhi and Kejriwal had supported the JNU students following Central government's actions following the row over raising of anti-national slogans in the varsity campus.
"If Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal have any respect for the honor of the country then they should condemn the support being given to the terrorists in Kashmir Valley and in Delhi's JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University)," BJP Delhi chief unit Satish Upadhyay said here.
"About three months back, the Congress leader and Delhi Chief Minister had supported Umar Khalid and Kanhaiya Kumar in a controversy connected with supporting Kashmiri terrorists (Afzal Guru) in JNU," Upadhyay said, adding: "But today when these people are supporting the slain terrorist Burhan Wani who had attacked the army in Kashmir, the silence of Rahul and Arvind Kejriwal is quite surprising."
Khalid stoked controversy after he compared slain militant Wani with revolutionary Che Guevara on social media site Facebook.
Earlier in February this year, Khalid, along with JNU Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar and few other students, was booked for seditiion over the controversial event in JNU against hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru during which anti-national slogans were allegedly raised.
At least 23 people lost their lives in the valley state following violence erupted following the death of Wani on Friday.
