Files complaint against supervisor, who allegedly made derogatory remarks and abused herAfter Air India airhostess Komal Singh alleged she was molested by a pilot on board IC 884 flight from Sharjah to Delhi on October, another airhostess filed a complaint with the airline against a senior supervisor.
According to sources, "An air hostess of flight IC 801 from Chennai to Delhi complained before the appellant authority of Deepa Mahajan that her supervisor had abused her. The airhostess is said to have told her supervisor that she was not like Komal Singh to take things lying down." On hearing this, the supervisor abused her further and passed derogatory remarks against her, which lead the airhostess to file a complaint with the authority at 3 pm on Saturday. The source refused to disclose the name of the airhostess.
Sources indicate the case may be treated in the same manner as the Komal Singh case, where the airhostess became the victim. On Friday, Air India dismissed Komal's complaint and gave a clean chit to the supervisor.
Jitendra Bhargava, executive director, said, "The issue about the new complaint has been unnecessarily highlighted. There is hardly anything like that."
