Resident Editor and Director of Malayala Manorama Amit Mathew has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulations for the year 2014-2015.
Mumbai: Resident Editor and Director of Malayala Manorama Amit Mathew has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulations for the year 2014-2015.
A statement released here said that Shashidhar Sinha, CEO - India, IPG Mediabrands, representing advertising agencies on the Council, was unanimously elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Bureau for the same period.
Among the members on the Bureau's Council of Management for the year 2014-2015, apart from Mathew, the other publishers representatives would be Shailesh Gupta (Jagran Prakashan Ltd), Aritra Sarkar (ABP Pvt. Ltd), I Venkat (Ushodaya Enterprises Ltd.), Hormusji N Cama (The Bombay Samachar Pvt Ltd), Devendra V Darda (Lokmat Media Pvt Ltd), Sanjeev Vohra (Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd) and Benoy Roychowdhury (HT Media Ltd).
The advertising agencies representatives apart from Sinha would be Madhukar Kamath (Mudra Communications Pvt Ltd) who would be Honorary Treasurer, Srinivasan K Swamy (RK Swamy BBDO Pvt Ltd) and CVL Srinivas (Group M Media India Pvt Ltd). The statement said the advertisers representatives are Ravindra Pisharody (Tata Motors Ltd), Debabrata Mukherjee (Coca Cola India Pvt Ltd) and Hemant Malik (ITC Limited) who would be Honorary Secretary. The statement also said that Hormuzd Masani would be the Secretary General of the ABC.
