New Delhi: Senior advocate Abha Singh on Wednesday said that the Delhi Police should initiate criminal proceedings against the Saudi Diplomat, who raped two Nepalese girls in Gurgaon.
'It is a very serious offence that the Saudi Diplomat had kept two girls in confinement and was raping them continuously,' Singh told ANI here.
'Under Vienna Convention, India is bound not to arrest a Saudi diplomat as he is granted a diplomat privilege,' she added.
The police rescued the Nepalese girls on Tuesday evening after an NGO registered a case of trafficking.
