National carrier Air India said that a flight operated by its low-cost international subsidiary Air India Express from Mangaluru to Saudi Arabia's Dammam was diverted to Mumbai on Monday evening due to a medical emergency on board.
According to the airline, IX 885 had 72 passengers on board.
