About eight years ago, four handsome young men crooned Meri Neend Ud Gayi and teenage girls across the country had many a sleepless night. Almost a decade has passed since and A Band of Boys (ABOB), one of the most popular boy bands in India remains quite a favourite when it comes to soft romantic numbers.u00a0 This is not all and they surely had bigger plans than this. By giving the main score titled Tod Fod (destruction for us)u00a0 for John Travolta starrer Hollywood flick From Paris With Love that just hit theatres, the group of boys have proven that their forte lies in more than just Indipop.

u00a0Sharing how a casual chat over a cup of coffee led to ABOB's entry into Hollywood, Karan Oberoi, one of the band members says, "The people who have acquired the rights of the movie in India saw our energetic stage performance. They were amazed to see a very different side of us. Soon we met for a cup of coffee and it was decided we would compose the title song, which is also called Paris Ke Jalwe."

From Paris With Love is the story of how a young employee from the office of the US ambassador and an American Spy try to prevent a terrorist attack in the city. ABOB, with a current line-up of Karan Oberoi, Sherrin Varghese, Chin2 Bhosle and Siddhaarth Haldipur describe the movie to be an action packed experience with the right mix of energy and music.

Confessing that Paris Ke Jalwe is also a conscious effort to break the notion that ABOB can only make bubblegum pop numbers, Chin2 says, "We would like to describe the score as edgy with a mix of electronic and distortion guitars. We were completely blown away when we watched the movie. When you hear the song you can almost visualize bullets firing and cars breaking into pieces."

Though not willing to reveal their upcoming projects, ABOB describes Paris Ke Jalwe as a song that Bollydevises (sic) Hollywood music and hopes that it will break the patterns of how music for Hollywood films is conceived.
