A 5,000-page chargesheet has been filed by the UP Police against Ashish Misra, son of the Minister of State for Home Ajay Misra Teni in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case.
Ashish Misra has been named the prime accused in the chargesheet, as per an India Today report.
The chargesheet stated that investigation has revealed that Ashish Misra was present at the spot of violence. A relative of Ashish Misra was also named as an accused in the charge sheet.
Ashish Misra had earlier submitted videos to prove that he was not present in the car that mowed down farmers during protests in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh.
