A 21-year-old climate activist from Bengaluru has been arrested for alleged involvement in sharing the "toolkit" related to the farmer's protest on social media, police said on Sunday.

Delhi police's Cyber Cell team arrested Disha Ravi from Bengaluru on Saturday. She was produced before a Delhi court in Delhi on Sunday. The police told the court that she edited the toolkit on February 3.

"She was one of the editors of the toolkit Google Doc and a key conspirator in the document's formulation and dissemination," said Anil Mittal, additional PRO, Delhi police. "She started a WhatsApp group and collaborated to make the Toolkit doc. She worked closely with them to draft the Doc," Delhi police tweeted later.

Ravi broke down inside the courtroom and told the judge that she had edited only two lines. "I was just supporting farmers... because they are our future and we all need to eat," she told the judge, according to a report by The NewsMinute. The court remanded her in police custody for five days.

Police have also seized her laptop and mobile for further investigation and the police are ascertaining if she was in touch with more people who were involved in the case.

The Cyber Cell had on February 4 lodged an FIR against "pro-Khalistan" creators of the "toolkit" for waging a "social, cultural and economic war against the Government of India". The case against unnamed persons was registered on charges of criminal conspiracy, sedition and various other sections of the Indian Penal Code, the police had said.

Ravi, a graduate in Bachelor of Business Administration, is also one of the founding members of a group named ‘Fridays For Future India'.

Won't let govt sit in peace till demands met: Rakesh Tikait

Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait on Sunday said they won't let the Centre sit in peace till the farmers' demands are met. Addressing a farmers' "mahapanchayat" at the Indri grain market in Karnal district, Tikait said the 40 leaders will tour the entire nation to drum up support for the agitation against the farm laws. Farmer leader Darshan Pal said over 200 farmers have sacrificed their lives during the agitation.
