Lucknow: 11 people were today killed and as many injured when a speeding truck rammed into a stationary canter in the wee hours in Mathura district.
The accident occurred on Delhi-Mathura road in Kosi Kalan area, about 100 km from the national capital. 11 people died on the spot, police said.
The injured have been rushed to hospital. Majority of those killed in the accident belonged to Etawah and Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh, police added.
