Mumbai divisional board has been receiving calls from SSC students to know if the Algebra paper, which was leaked on Tuesday, will be rescheduled again
After the story of paper leak was reported in several newspapers and television channels on Wednesday, many Secondary School Certificate (SSC) students have called the board helpline to check if the Mathematics paper-I Algebra will be rescheduled. The board counselors have received around 70 calls after students heard that the paper was leaked in YB Chavan School in Kandivli on Tuesday.
From the time my shift started at 2 pm till 7 pm, I attended at least 70 calls from SSC students asking if the Algebra exam will be rescheduled. An enquiry will be conducted by board members. We are informing the students that until then, we cannot say if the exam will be rescheduled or not.

âTeachers call for help too'
The board helpline receives calls not only from students but also from teachers checking the board papers. Counselors have received about 20 calls from teachers, examiners and moderators for different queries on paper correction. Some call to know when they will be receiving the answer sheets; others call to ask the moderator's address where they can send the corrected copies. Moderators call as well to check the schedule of their meeting with the board office.
