Mumbai: Govt office in Aarey Milk Colony turns into a drunken den
One of the government offices of Aarey Milk Colony seems to be turning into a den for tipplers. Senior officials attached to the Aarey CEO’s office were found drinking liquor in broad daylight inside one of the colony’s offices. On May 30, the NGO We Will Help (WWH) Charitable Foundation sent a letter to Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and Tukaram Mundhe, secretary of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development. A massive fire broke out in multiple factories at Vasai in Maharashtra on Sunday evening, the officials said. Mumbai: Learner driver hits applicant waiting at RTO office
A 25-year-old resident of Andheri sustained critical injuries while he was waiting for his sister’s learner’s driving test at the Andheri RTO office. The vehicle’s driver, accompanied by the RTO’s licence inspector, collided with two vehicles before running over the victim,. The victim’s family said that the RTO officer was at fault and demanded that the police register an FIR. Read more.
Mumbai Coastal Road leakage is ‘normal, limited issue’
After leakages appeared at various spots inside the Coastal Road tunnel, the BMC repaired them on a war footing, and on Thursday, there were no active spots inside the southbound tunnel. “Such leakages at the expansion joints may appear in the future due to geological changes. Mumbai: Daughter of IAS officer ends life over academic pressure
A woman in South Mumbai on Monday ended her life by jumping from the 10th floor of her home at Nariman Point at around 4 am. Police sources revealed that the deceased, Lipi, aged 27, is the daughter of senior IAS officer Vikas Chandra Rastogi and his wife Radhika; she was immediately rushed to GT hospital where she was declared dead, said officials.
