To counter the MVA's march, the BJP is also holding 'Maafi Mango' protests across Mumbai Pic/Bipin Kokate

The MVA allies - Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress took out the protest march against the 'injustice' meted out to Maharashtra, 'insults' of the state's icons like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, and 'atrocities' against Marathi-speakers in border areas of Karnataka as well as industrial projects being taken out of the state, according to MVA leaders Pic/Shadab Khan

The protest began from a company near JJ Hospital at Byculla and will conclude at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) railway station Pic/Bipin Kokate
