Mumbai: Five rescued after breaks out in Byculla shops

An official, while speaking to media, said that nobody was injured in the incident. 

The fire began around 7.20 am in a shop which is located on Shakeel Street in Byculla and was reported by BMC's Mumbai Fire Brigade. 

The official said that footwear, leather, stock garments, household articles and electrical installations in various 'galas' (sub-section) in the shop were gutted. 

After being alerted about the blaze, the MFB authorities sent fire engines to the spot to douse the fire.

MFB had said that the fire that broke out in Gr+1 and Gr+2 structure was a level 2 blaze. 

According to the fire brigade department, the 09 hose line of the 08 motor pump is in operation.
