CM Ekanth Shinde attended the traditional Shobha Yatra in Thane city, where participants dressed in traditional attire parade through the streets, accompanied by music, dance, and performances that heighten the celebratory atmosphere

DCM Devendra Fadnavis placed the Gudi at his residence in Nagpur and also attended the Shobha Yatra

Gudi Padwa festival has immense cultural and religious significance for the people of Maharashtra, and people celebrate it with a variety of ceremonies and traditions

Marathi actress Prajakta Mali was also present at the Nagpur's Shobha Yatra. Fadnavis also addressed the procession and extended Gudi Padwa wishes to everyone

Gudi Padwa is also significant in agriculture, as it signals the start of the harvest season
