The mega block was scheduled to carry out various engineering and maintenance works on suburban sections

The Matunga-Mulund UP and DOWN slow lines were blocked from 11:05 am to 3:55 pm on Sunday

During this period, DOWN slow line services departing from CSMT Mumbai between 10:14 am and 3:52 pm were diverted

These trains were diverted to the DOWN fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations

They halted at key stations, including Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, and Mulund

After reaching Mulund, the services were re-diverted to the DOWN slow line

As a result, these trains reached their destinations 15 minutes behind schedule
