Residents in Kandivali participated in Ram Rath Yatra, Palki Yatra of Ram Lalla and Kalash Yatra organised ahead of Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav.

The procession that started from Lakshminarayan Mandir in Kandivali West sa over 500 persons participating and rejoicing.

The atmosphere across India is festive with several persons chanting 'Jai Shree Ram' ahead of the Ram Mandir temple's consecration in Ayodhya.

Ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad released awe-inspiring images of the newly constructed Ram Temple.

The temple is adorned with flowers and beautifully illuminated with lights, providing a glimpse into the grandeur of this sacred place.

The idol of Ram Lalla, sculpted by Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj, stands at an impressive 51 inches tall and weighs 1.5 tonnes. The portrayal captures Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus, crafted from the same stone. This intricately carved idol is the focal point of the sanctum sanctorum in the Ayodhya temple.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to play a central role in the 'Pran Pratishtha' rituals. A team of priests, led by Lakshmikant Dixit, will guide the main rituals, underscoring the significance of this event at the national level.

The process of Pran Pratishtha commenced on January 16, including 'Prayaschit' and Karmakuti puja. Subsequent days witnessed the idol entering the premises, installation in the sanctum sanctorum, and various rituals like Aushadhivas, Kesaradhivas, Ghritadhivas, Dhanyadhivas, Sugardhivas, Fruitdhivas, Pushpadhivas, and Madhyadhivas leading up to the grand ceremony.
