The incident that occurred in the United Chambers building located near Shalimar Hotel on Maulana Shaukat Ali Road at 10.18 am, the civic officials said

No casualties have been reported so far in the incident, they said

The slabs of the second and fourth floors of the structure collapsed, a civic official said

According to Mumbai's Disaster Management Cell, a slab from the second floor fell on the first floor

Later, a chunk of the first floor's flooring fell on the ground floor, it said

Multiple agencies, including the fire brigade, police, BMC ward staff, etc rushed to the spot following the incident

Sources said that the authorities had renovated the building a year and a half ago
