Speaking on the occasion, Nandkumar Ghodile expressed that he was joining Shiv Sena because of the development work done by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his leadership style, which had deeply impressed him, an official said
Shinde stated that the ideology of Hinduism championed by Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray and the teachings of the late Anand Dighe would continue to guide the party's journey forward
Shinde said that over the past two and a half years, the Mahayuti government’s development work had inspired many Shiv Sena workers to come forward in support of the party
Shinde also expressed confidence that the joining of Nandkumar and Anita Ghodile would strengthen Shiv Sena’s presence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Shinde assured Ghodile that his party would provide all necessary assistance to support the expansion of Shiv Sena in the region
