In order to avoid the chaos during morning peak hours, Western Railway (WR) authorities have stated that they deployed additional security at stations due to cancellation of train services

On Monday morning, commuters can be seen checking platform indicators at Borivali railway station to catch their trains. Peak-hour chaos is evident at various Western Railway (WR) stations due to train service cancellations

Western line railway stations experienced a significant crowd on the platform due to a week-long mega block

Western Railway announced the cancellation of over 2,500 local train services in Mumbai from October 27 to November 5

The Western Railway spokesperson had recently stated that around 359 RPF personnel and 178 GRP personnel, including officers, have been deployed round the clock for crowd regulation at platforms, foot overbridges etc

Meanwhile, there was increase in the ridership of Mumbai Metro due to mega block on the Western line
