He held door-to-door campaigns in the Dadar-Mahim constituency, which houses the famous Shivaji Park

The fight in the constituency will be a triangular one with Shiv Sena's Sada Sarvankar set to take on the UBT and MNS candidates

The Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate is looking to wrest the seat from Sarvankar this election

Meanwhile, young Amit Thackeray will be facing a tough electoral debut as he will be contesting against two veteran politicians  

MNS only won a single seat in the previous assembly polls and Amit Thackeray will be looking to change his party's fortunes this time

The young MNS leader was accompanied by wife Mitali while campaigning at the Fisherman Colony, Mahim

On October 28, both Sawant and Amit Thackeray had filed their nominations for the Maharashtra Assembly election at Dr Antonio Da Silva High School in Dadar

A few days ago, Amit Thackeray was also seen playing football at Chowpatty. He interacted with many youth, most of whom were first-time voters, during the football game 

Amit Thackeray's cousin Aaditya will be contesting on a Shiv Sena (UBT) ticket from Worli
