The energetic performances brightened the airport's ambiance, with the beats of the dhol and colorful attire turning the busy terminal into a celebration of cultural pride, an official statement said on Tuesday

"This event not only highlighted our rich cultural heritage but also fostered a sense of community, reminding us that even amidst the hustle and bustle of travel, we can connect through cherished traditions and joyous moments," a CSMIA spokesperson said

Passengers expressed their appreciation for the festive atmosphere, with many joining in the dance or stopping to admire the performances, the statement further said

For many travelers, it provided a moment of respite from the usual rush of airport activities, it said

The celebration offered a rare moment of relief for travelers, many of whom paused to watch the dance, momentarily escaping the pressures of travel, it said

"It was a refreshing break from the usual airport rush," a passenger said, according to the statement
