The building, which was declared dilapidated over a decade ago by the local civic body, collapsed in Bhayandar East on Thursday morning around 10 am

The body of an unknown person was found when the authorities concerned and the fire brigade officials from Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) were removing the debris

The incident left behind a large pile of debris and damaged an auto-rickshaw, an official said
