The data further reveals that the most prominent pollutant in Mumbai is PM10 and PM 2.5
Mumbai's Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 176, in the 'moderate' category, around 11 am. Further Navi Mumbai and Thane too reported 'moderate' air quality with AQI at 200 and 169 respectively
The data further revealed that of the total 22 stations in Mumbai, area that reported 'poor' air quality included Sion, Vile Parle, Worli, Mulund, Bandra (East), Deonar with AQI above 200
Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) revealed that the Siddarth Nagar in Worli is the least polluted with AQI at 94
An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'
