Mumbai Police said that 40 new cars for the 'Nirbhaya Squad' and 200 motorbikes for the Beat Marshalls of the Mumbai Police were handed over the officials of Mumbai Police

Through the Nirbhaya Squad, the police conduct regular patrolling in the areas of the city, it also conducts awareness campaigns and maintain a women's helpline for immediate assistance
The Mumbai Police have solved many cases of crime against women and children. The police have also traced and reunited parents and families of missing children and persons with its Nirbhaya Sqaud initiative
