Meanwhile, after the idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled on Monday, devotees outside the Wadala Ram Temple in Mumbai celebrated the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla by dancing and bursting firecrackers

The idol of Lord Ram was unveiled in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi

PM Modi led rituals at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple

The ceremony was held in an atmosphere of a deep sense of devotion. Indian Air Force (IAF) choppers showered flower petals over Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple premises in Ayodhya as the idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are present at the ceremony

The ceremony began at 12:20 pm, and according to the temple trust

Filmmakers Rohit Shetty, Rajkumar Hirani, actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Madhuri Dixit Nene along with her husband Sriram Nene and producer Mahaveer Jain also arrived in the temple town as part of the contingent from the Indian film industry to take part in the grand event
