While addressing his supporters Raj Thackeray said, Mumbai-Goa highway work started in 2007, after that so many governments came but the road work was not done and yet how come the same people are elected
The MNS chief further said, the roads are in bad condition not only in Konkan but in entire Maharashtra. It takes 8 hours to go from Mumbai to Nashik. People are literally suffering. What is going on in Maharashtra?
Meanwhile, Raj Thackeray on Monday reportedly confirmed that he has got an offer to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), but he has not yet taken a final call on it
"As Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar are with the government, and since the BJP has not clarified what will be done with Ajit Pawar, I have not been able to take any decision on this," Raj Thackeray had said
Raj Thackeray reportedly further said that he addressed the party workers and leaders on the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, though he expressed doubts whether the planned civic elections are likely to be held anytime soon given the current political scenario in the state
