The Pro Govinda League is organised at the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) in Worli. The winning team will receive Rs 11 lakh

Earlier, announcing the prize money, Maharashtra industries minister Uday Samant stated, "The first prize comprises a whopping Rs 11 lakh, second Rs 7 lakh, third Rs 5 lakh and fourth Rs 3 lakh"

The Maharashtra government has also announced insurance coverage for all the participating Govindas

In order to avoid accidents during the participation, the government also announced a set of rules to be followed by the participants. In case of death, the kin of the victim will receive Rs 10 lakh as insurance
