CM Eknath Shinde condoled the deaths and announced assistance of Rs 5 lakh each for the families of the deceased
Talking to reporters after visiting the crash site, chief minister Shinde said those responsible for the accident would not be spared
CM Eknath Shinde dismissed allegations by some opposition leaders that the government was in a hurry to complete the expressway project before the next year's elections
The work was "technical and is totally automated" and there is no question of haste, he said
PWD minister Ravindra Chavan and Public Works (with MSRDC) minister Dada Bhuse also visited the accident site
