The water pipeline was allegedly damaged and the water began to leak on Wednesday night at a construction site located on the Goregaon-Mulund link road in Goregaon East

The leakage has resulted in loss of hundreds of liters of water since Wednesday night

Earlier in December last year, a water pipeline burst in Asalpha village in Ghatkopar West

Several houses were inundated and vehicles damaged creating panic in the Asalpha area

The pipeline was later repaired and the affected water supply was restored in Asalpha
