Thousands of devotees visit Mount Mary Church during the Bandra fair. Devotees offer prayers and also light candles.

During the Bandra fair, the Mount Mary Road will be closed for all types of vehicles except vehicles of local residents who will be issued car passes by the police, the police said.

Ahead of the Bandra fair that began on Sunday, September 11, the Mumbai Traffic Police issued traffic restrictions around Mount Mary in Bandra West.

Parking or halting of all types of vehicles except for the immediate purpose of picking up or getting down has been also prohibited on both sides on the streets close to Mount Mary

The traffic restrictions would remain in place till September 18, until the conclusion of Bandra fair, the police said.
