IN PHOTOS: Hundreds gather at Dadar to mark Mahaparinirvan Diwas

The prepartions for the 66th death anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the day which is also called as the Mahaparinirvan Diwas would be marked on December 6. Ahead of the Mahaparinirvan Diwas, hundreds of people were seen visiting Dadar and Shivaji Park area (Pics/Ashish Raje)

The followers of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar were seen decorating the statue in Dadar area on Monday. Pic/ Satej Shinde.

An eye check-up camp has also been organised at Shivaji Park.

Book stalls have also been setup for the visitors.

Heavy security arrangements has been made by the Mumbai Police.

Arrangements for food districbutions has also been made, as people from across the state are likely to visit the city.

The followers of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar will be congregating at Shivaji Park to commemorate the day at Chaitya Bhoomi in Dadar area.

Traffic Police have also issued traffic restrictions and route diversion around Dadar and Shivaji Park.
