The Mumbai Fire Brigade was notified around 9 am and promptly dispatched two fire tenders to control the situation.
Officials reported that the fire had affected both the ground and first floors of the bungalow, causing significant damage to the structure.
Employees from the local electricity supply company, ambulance services, and civic ward authorities had also rushed to the scene.
Their coordinated efforts ensured that the fire was confined to the two floors of the ground-plus-one-storey bungalow.
As visuals from the incident circulated, they showed thick black smoke rising from the bungalow in Lokhandwala Complex.
Despite the alarming sight, fire officials managed to bring the blaze under control within a few hours. The fire was extinguished by 11.25 am
The cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are underway to ascertain what led to the blaze. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported during the fire at the bungalow.
