Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its latest Mumbai weather update, has predicted a partly cloudy sky with light to moderate rainfall in Mumbai on Wednesday

The maximum temperature in the city is likely to settle at 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be recorded at 26 degrees Celsius

A high tide of about 4.48 metres is expected to hit Mumbai at 3.19 pm today, stated Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The civic body also said that a low tide of about 1.59 metres is expected at 9.29 pm

The island city recorded 9.41 mm of rainfall, eastern Mumbai 12.85 mm and western Mumbai 9.68 mm of rainfall in the 24-hour period ending at 8 am

The southwest monsoon advanced further into various parts of Gujarat, bringing significant rains on Tuesday, with Visavadar taluka in Junagadh district recording 109 mm of rainfall within 12 hours
