In Delhi, the Shri Adhya Katyayani Shaktipith Mandir in Chhatarpur witnessed a large crowd of devotees participating in a vibrant Aarti ceremony on the first day of Navaratri.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal inaugurated the Durga Puja celebrations at Jodhpur Park, stressing the importance of unity and inclusivity during the festival.
