Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday night flagged off a special train journey for Ram devotees heading to Ayodhya from Mumbai.

The train journey to Ayodhya was organised for BJP workers and devotees by the saffron party.

Senior BJP leader and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis expressed his excitement about the trip.

The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya's historic temple, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, took place on January 22.

The launch of the 'Ayodhya Astha Rail' witnessed the jubilation of thousands of Ram devotees at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai, with chants of 'Jai Shri Ram' filling the air.

Prominent leaders and dignitaries, including Chandrasekhar Bawankule, Ashish Shelar, Rahul Narwekar, and others, graced the occasion.

Devotees from around the world are eager to have the darshan of Ram Lala in the grand Ram temple built in Ayodhya.

The commencement of the first train from Mumbai to Ayodhya was a momentous occasion for Ram devotees, symbolising the realisation of their dream to witness the majestic Ram temple.

Fadnavis expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his support and leadership in the temple's construction in his social media post.

The 'Ayodhya Astha Rail', Fadnavis said, will provide the devotees of Ram a safe journey and chance to visit the holy city of Ayodhya with better facilities.
