Nandgaonkar will face a tough battle in Sewri. The Maha Vikas Aghadi has fielded incumbent legislator Ajay Choudhary, who represents Shiv Sena (UBT), while Nana Ambole, a Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) leader will be the Mahayuti's candidate
