Maximum temperatures are expected to touch 34°C, while minimums may drop to a cool 15°C. IMD assures there are no weather warnings, making the upcoming days ideal for outdoor activities.

Sunday promises a mix of sunshine and light cloud cover, with temperatures ranging from 19°C to 32°C. Clear skies and pleasant temperatures of 15°C to 34°C are expected for New Year celebrations.

Despite favourable weather, Mumbai’s Air Quality Index (AQI) has worsened, moving into the 'unsatisfactory' category. The deteriorating AQI has prompted health warnings as residents prepare for year-end festivities.

Recent rainfall in Delhi has temporarily improved air quality in the capital, contrasting with Mumbai’s rising pollution levels. Citizens are urged to monitor AQI levels, limit outdoor activities, and take measures to safeguard their health.

The first week of the New Year will see temperatures remain stable between 15°C and 34°C with predominantly clear skies. As Mumbai gears up for the festive season and New Year, tackling rising pollution will remain a pressing concern.
