Bandra West Railway Station is located in the suburb of Bandra in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The station is part of the Western line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network and serves as an important transportation hub for the western suburbs of Mumbai.

The station was built in 1869 by the British colonial government and has undergone several renovations over the years. It was originally named "Bandra Terminus" but was later renamed "Bandra Station" in the 1930s.

Bandra Station is a Grade I heritage structure and is considered an important landmark in Mumbai.

The station's unique architecture, which blends Victorian Gothic and vernacular styles, has earned it a place on the list of India's most iconic railway stations.

In recent years, there have been efforts to restore and preserve the historic station. These efforts include the installation of new lighting and the restoration of the station's original roof tiles.
