Located in north Mumbai, the park was seen packed with people on Sunday.
It is one of Asia's most frequently visited national parks. It is particularly popular with children and for learning about multiple species of butterflies.
The park spans in about 104 square kilometres of land with a variety of enjoyable activities for children. It also offers activities like paddle-boating at Vihar and Tulsi Lakes.
Visitors also like to go for a hike to the Gandhi Tekdi at the park.
