An investigation is underway to find out how the crocodile ended up in the swimming pool, and based on it, necessary action will be taken," deputy municipal commissioner Kishor Gandhi said in the release (Pic/Ashish Raje)
The lifeguard later alerted the Forest Department, Fire Brigade, and police about the unusual occurrence of the crocodile in the swimming pool

The pool authorities safely stored the crocodile in a drum and informed the forest department for its secure relocation to a forested area
A source from the BMC's Dadar-based swimming pool expressed concern, stating, 'We have filed several complaints to ensure the safety of this pool, especially given its proximity to the beach area. There have been previous instances of a snake being found in the pool. Each passing day raises concerns for individuals opting to go swimming"
