Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Man given a rousing welcome in Mumbai; scores of of AAP volunteers reached airport to welcome the party leaders

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann along with other party leaders met Uddhav Thackeray at his residence in Mumbai. Aaditya Thackeray was also present to receive the AAP leaders at Matoshree in Mumbai

The meeting takes place at a time when the Shiv Sena name and the bow and arrow symbol have been given to Eknath Shinde camp and the Aam Aadmi Party is caught up in the alleged liquor scam and the snooping case

"Aam Aadmi Party is not just an alternative but the solution. Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann have set the bar for good governance…Mumbaikars want the Aam Aadmi Party in the BMC. Mumbai is ready for AAP. ", Preeti Sharma Menon, Mumbai President, Aam Aadmi Party, quoted in a press release as saying

While addressing the media following the meeting, Uddhav Thackeray said that they wanted to meet for a long time and that there is no need to say why they wanted to meet

Arvind Kejriwal appreciated Uddhav saying that many good practices were initiated by the government (Uddhav-led) amid pandemic which were followed by the AAP government in Delhi
