The state government has presented the interim budget for the year 2024-25, ahead of elections

State has set aside Rs 2,000 crore to solve the drought issues in Vidarbha region, said Ajit Pawar while presenting the budget

The state government has taken cognizance of the unseasonal rains and damage to the crops, the deputy CM said

Agreements have been signed with 19 companies in Davos in January 2024, the finance minister said

He said that tenders worth Rs 196 crore are currently in process in the state under the Make in India policy

Ajit Pawar said that Rs 3000 crore worth of assistance has been given to 44 lakh damaged farmers

Ajit Pawar also said that provision of Rs 10 thousand crore for urban development have been made and 19 thousand crore have been reserved for public works

He stated that employment opportunities would be created for 1 lakh women, and solar energy would be provided for 37 thousand Anganwadis

This will be the interim budget for the state, considering the upcoming legislative assembly polls

Rs 15,554 crore has been allocated for railway lines and projects in Maharashtra in the Union, he added

Meanwhile, to everyone's surprise, NCP MLA Saroj Babulal Ahire arrived with her child during the Budget session at Vidhan Bhavan on Tuesday
