Ahead of inauguration of Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde welcomes PM Narendra Modi in Nasik today morning

For his Maharashtra visit, prime minister Modi landed at Nashik's Nilgiri helipad. He attended the Youth Festival and conducted a road show in Nashik before heading to Mumbai for MTHL's inauguration

Along with CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were also present to welcome PM Modi in Maharashtra

PM Modi arrived in Maharashtra today morning and will be travelling to Mumbai afternoon for the MTHL's inauguration ceremony

Maharashtra's chief secretary, Nitin Kareer and Director General of Police, Rashmi Shukla were also present to welcome PM Modi

The inauguration ceremony of MTHL also known as Atal Setu named is after former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee is expected to take around 3.30 pm

MTHL will be connecting Sewri with Nhava Sheva and is said to be India’s longest sea bridge, a Rs 17,840 crore engineering project

The MTHL, officially named the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, is a record-breaking breakthrough in connectivity, infrastructure, and technology
