After a week of intermittent showers in the city, Mumbaikars on Tuesday woke up to a sunny morning

Meanwhile, the IMD, in its weather bulletin, predicted light rainfall/drizzle in the city and suburbs for Tuesday

The IMD predicted, "Partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain/drizzle in city and suburbs" for the next 24 hours

The BMC said that a high tide hit the Mumbai coast at 11:20 am, reaching a height of 4.04 metres, while another high tide was expected at 11.37 pm of height 3.93 metres on Tuesday

A low tide was expected at 5.20 pm lowering to 1.09 meters and an another low tide of 1.23 meters was expected at 5.22 am on October 2, the BMC said

IMD (Mumbai) chief Sunil Kamble told mid-day that the city and suburbs will receive light rainfall over the next three to four days

When asked about monsoon withdrawal, he said, "Typically, in Mumbai, monsoon withdraws between October 5-10

He added that the withdrawal of monsoon does get delayed based on prevalent weather systems then

The city will receive light rainfall for the next 3-4 days before rescinding
