In a nowcast warning, the IMD Mumbai said, "Moderate spells of rain very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Mumbai during next 3-4 hours"
Currently, the traffic and rail movements are smooth and there are no reports of disruption in services in the city
Earlier, on Wednesday, the weather department issued a yellow alert for Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Dhule, Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, etc. and predicted light to moderate rainfall in parts of the state
For Friday, October 11, IMD has predicted 'Partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm'
For the next 48 hours, IMD has predicted 'Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/ thunderstorm towards evening/night' for Mumbai
Thunder and lightning were witnessed in Bandra and several other suburbs of the city
The showers brought some respite from heat in Mumbai
