Four people died while three others got injured when the car driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the luxury bus on Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway near Kasa bridge in Dahanu on Tuesday morning

"They have been identified as Mohammad Hafeez (36), Ibrahim Dawood (60), Ashia Collector (57) and Ismail Desai (42) and were the resident of Bardoli in Surat," Balasaheb Patil, superintendent of police, Palghar district told mid-day

The impact of the accident was so severe that all four bodies were trapped in the car. The bodies were sent to a government hospital for post-mortem

The injured people are undergoing treatment in a government hospital in Kasa. The Police are in the process to register an FIR. The accident took place at 3:10 am near Kasa bridge, Dahanu
